The food was very good, and the service was excellent, especially considering there was only one person working. It took a little time, but she was wonderful and the food was delicious.

I can't say enough about the homemade bread pudding! It's traditional, just how I like it, but with a delightful twist that was a pleasant surprise. The flavor is exceptional, making it even better than I expected—absolutely over the top! I don't want to spoil the surprise for you, so you need to try it yourself. Once you've had it, you'll never want to eat bread pudding anywhere else. If you're craving bread pudding, you have to go to Skinneys! The portions are great for the price—very reasonable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, treating us like family. They were attentive to everything we needed. The restaurant itself is well-maintained and clean, creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. We even got to know the owner, a former Marine, who was incredibly friendly to us and our 2-year-old. I loved hearing about the history of the restaurant and will definitely be back. I look forward to visiting often! I can’t wait to go on a Friday night when they have live music and dancing!

Charming country restaurant with excellent service. Although the portion sizes were on the smaller side, the food was delicious.

Wonderful experience tonight. My waitress was very attentive and polite and the steak I had was just as I wanted. I recommend not only steak, but I also recommend the firecracker shrimp appetizer, with frits and toast with a delicious sauce that is different from other places with the same name.

Food was decent, service is friendly and attentive, dining area is well kept and prices are fair.
