Kalami Beach Taverna Kalami Corfu

We stumbled over this restaurant with a boat for the day. Restaurant owner met us at the private jetty and friendly helped moor the boat. The setting is absolutely stunning, very pretty and so clean. Service was very attentive, very inconvenient staff and so polite. Food was delicious, seafood was the best we would have been in Corfu. Consider us very happy to have found this little jewel! The beef stifado was excellent. So fresh, piping hot and made with love. The staff is nice to even keep a smile when there was a streamcut through storms. The service is fast and efficient without being rushed. We will return!

We had lunch at the tavern on a Wednesday at the end of September. The prices are quite high compared to the norm perhaps because it is one of the only 3 places in the bay. All in all the portions are generous. The service is very attentive to the customer, however the wait was really long, even though we had ordered a sandwich and a salad and the place was practically empty (it was 4pm and there were 4 tables in total).
