Aliqapu - KEW EAST

This is a fantastic, authentic Persian restaurant with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. It's one of my favorite spots to visit!

Last night, I took my international colleagues to Aliqapu restaurant. We were a group of 15, and everyone was incredibly happy with the experience. The service was excellent, with friendly and courteous staff. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, and the decor was both beautiful and romantic. Of course, the highlight was the fantastic and delicious food. I truly believe that Aliqapu is the best Persian restaurant in Melbourne. If you're looking to host a wonderful Persian event or if you're trying Persian cuisine for the first time, Aliqapu is the perfect choice.

We ordered slow-cooked lamb shanks and Baghali Polo, which came with a delightful green rice. It was my first experience with green rice, made with dill and broad beans, and I truly loved it—I could enjoy it all on its own. The Sotani Kabab, featuring a skewer each of grass-fed eye fillet and a minced lamb and beef kebab, was served with rice and a grilled tomato. It was fragrant and offered the perfect combination for those of us who couldn't decide which meat skewer to choose.

I had the most disappointing dining experience at Bouquet Court. The salad was served with a strong odor, definitely not fresh. The meat was flavorless and sliced very thin, accompanied by some dry, crumbly sides that had no taste at all. All of this cost over $140.
