Benjamin's is always the best of the best. Our friend had never had a steak in her life, so we took her there for her birthday. I told her it's the equivalent of having your first car ever be a Lamborghini. Talk about 0 to 100. She loved it, and she will never have a steak as delicious. Except if she goes back to Benjamin's. Thank you to everyone there! You guys are truly the best!

I am visiting from Los Angeles and want to have NY steak for lunch. I originally want to try Peter Luger or Keens but couldn't get a reservation last minute. Then I found Benjamin 15 min from my hotel on Open Table. We ordered 3 course prefix this is a great value for NYC). We got Caesars salad and wedge salad. Both were super delicious and fresh. Caesars has great anchovies flavor dressing. Wedge salad came with fresh grilled bacon bites which go really well with crunchy salad. For steak, we got one sirloin and one filet mignon. Both were cook to perfection and flavorful. I especially love sirloin. For dessert, cheese cake is very fluffy texture and not overpowering, kind of Japanese style. Overall, we had an excellent meal. The only average part is bread but you want to save your stomch for the whole course. We will definitely come back next time we are in NY. Benjamin steak is better than any of steak houses I have been to. I am just surprised that it wasn't crowed when we went. Maybe because you can only see entrance from street as reatraunt is tucked inside the building.

Excellent restaurant! Food was delicious and service was top notch! Great way to celebrate Christmas dinner with my mom in NYC. You will not be disappoint if you choose this restaurant for dinner!

The Christmas Day Prix Fixe menu was perfect. My medium rare filet mignon was exactly what I'd expect from an experienced steakhouse. I don't usually have interest in eggnog, but I enjoyed the spirit of the holiday. Everything was served quickly pleasantly.
