Bidra med feedbackThis is one of the most monumental dinners of my life! My family celebrated birthdays of my son and myself. From the crafted cocktails, best calamari I?ve ever had to breathtaking entrees. This is a must visit location and make sure to get your reservation! I?d leave 7 stars out of five.
Go here for dinner, no question. Everything we ate here was amazing. The craft cocktails were fantastic. The staff was great. Shout out to Hailey and Tony behind the bar for fantastic service. Loved the presentation of the food at the table. This was our favorite place to eat in all of Maui. Wonderful experience.
On our final night in Maui, Hawaii, we had the pleasure of dining at Ekolu Kitchen, where we were treated to fantastic food and outstanding service. Initially, there was a bit of a delay after being seated before we were attended to, but once the service began, it was truly impressive. The quality of the food matched the high level of service. I particularly enjoyed the drink shown in the photo, the Iwa Bird, which was served in a stylish tiki glass and featured delicious, top-quality alcohol. For my main course, I opted for the special—beef ribs—which were incredibly tender and packed with flavor. For dessert, we chose something similar to a baked Alaska. Overall, this is a wonderful restaurant and absolutely worth a visit.
Wow! It's upscale dining without the high prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always going above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is ideal, the cocktails are incredible, and the food is absolutely to die for.
According to one of the staff members, "ekolu" means three, referring to the three individuals who started the business: the chef, the HR person, and the owner of Nalu's. I love that story! The food is absolutely AMAZING! The menu features unique items made with fresh ingredients. Everything we tried was exceptional: crispy gnocchi, butternut squash ravioli with lilikoi brown sugar butter sauce, street corn pizza, and rigatoni with a special meat sauce. Even the house bread was delicious—it had a unique Parmesan crust and was served with whipped butter and black lava salt. We stumbled upon this place by chance and were so glad we did, as it wasn’t listed anywhere we had seen. You can make a reservation, but when we tried to do so on the spot at around 6:30 PM, it showed no tables were available. However, when we walked up and asked for a table, they had one for four people ready for us—such Maui magic! We'll definitely be returning!
