La Catrina - Kīhei

During our holiday in Maui, we were recommended to visit La Catrina to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food and drinks were excellent, but what truly stood out was the friendly and phenomenal staff. We had a wonderful time!

The Mango Jalapeño Mule is amazing! The food is excellent, and the service is very attentive.

The hotel is situated in a strip mall. We didn't receive two of the drinks we ordered, and the food was just average. There wasn't much authentic Mexican cuisine on the menu, and it's unclear whether the restaurant wants to be Mexican or Italian, as it serves tacos, mole, and pizzas.

The food is pretty pricey for what you get. Not much flavor.

Very disappointed I’ve been there three times and it seems that the quality of the food has gone down. Hopefully this may be a one off but after reading some other reviews unfortunately this could be on the downward end .
