Penny's Pizza Pasta - Kīhei

This is MUCH MORE than a pizza place! We didn't expect much from an Italian restaurant in Maui, but it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Caprese Salad, the Bruschetta, the garlic cheese bread, the baked rigatoni and chicken parmesan. Everything was beautifully plated and really tasty. We will return here every time we are visiting Maui.

The supreme pizza was as good as any other and went down well with a Kona Brewing Longboard Lager. The oven fired crust was very good, and the toppings were plentiful and proportioned well. The service was friendly and hard working. Great crew working the night we went and they seemed to work well together. The only ding on service was the delay from ordering a beer to receiving it. In WI, a beer is ordered and if the table staff is busy, the next available brings it out. Letting beers run dry is a sin, especially with pizza. Normally don't need to order beer, only need to let them know when to stop back home, but, we are on HI time, so relaxed a bit. Speaking of beer, the only on tap was some sweet Italian beer and Coors. I sampled the Italian beer and thought it was more like sweet wine. Owned by the same group owning the bar 20 paces away with impressive taps, I was surprised. The Italian beer was meh, and who has Coors on tap? Even native Coloradoans don't drink Coors. Like Fosters to an Aussie. The table next to us got a good laugh when told what is on tap. Overall, we would most definitely go to this, or any of the three establishments at this location. Mexican, Italian, or a good bar, pretty hard to go wrong here. They all have great staff, great food, and a really good atmosphere on the beautiful beaches. Mahalo Penny's Pizza!

Was greeted very quickly and enjoyed our table location in the open air dining area. Our server was quick to take our order and very friendly. We tried the Chicken Parmigiano along with a Snow White pizza from their outdoor brick oven. The food came out hot, the pizza was crispy and very tasty. Prices were not bad and we really liked the feel of our experience. Also greeted by the manager asking if we needed anything and checking if everything was alright. I would recommend Penny 's and will be returning soon.

Very cool spot in pleasant setting. We had a great view of the ocean and the pizza felt very authentic. It had amazing flavour. I would only suggest they go a little easier on the quantity of cheese. Only my opinion though. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We will be back ????

From our home in Maple Bay, Vancouver Island, British Columbia CANADA to Maui. We love Penny 's Pizza and Pasta in Kihei, Maui. Chicken Parm is huge and so moist and tasty. We returned for Pizza in Penny 's outdoor Pizza Oven the following night. Outdoor seating on the Lanai. Staff super friendly! Ree (we called her Penny but she 's not the real Penny) was terrific! She was our server. Fun and great, friendly customer service. Aloha and Mahalo.
