Ampol Cafe - KILKIVAN

Henry is a friend of a disgruntled employee who has never actually visited the restaurant. If the suggestion of a dirty shop is accurate, it is the staff's responsibility to maintain the public area. I personally disagree with the claims about the shop's condition and the alleged boycott by locals; I believe these statements are false. As for the mention of a "young pretty one," it seems like a mistake or confusion with another establishment.

In my opinion, the Ample Cafe has the best hot chips in the Queensland area. They also have delicious homemade pies and excellent customer service. Why would you go anywhere else? I highly recommend trying the $5 serving of hot chips with chicken salt - it's absolutely delicious.

Just filled up half a tank, drove fast, took the Tansy shortcut, and headed to Mount Perry for some delicious food at the restaurant!

We stopped for brunch after leaving Noosa.We came across the Ampol Bakery at Kilkivan, and the smell of the pies pasties made it impossible to walk out of the shop,the aroma was just wonderful.So we decided to have an early lunch.I picked a Curry...Pie a plain Beef pie for my lunch,the wife had a Beef,Bacon Cheese Pie,plus a Curry Pie for herself.They are made fresh each day and are to die for Fabulous!!! Besides the great food,the staff are also very friendly and just make you feel welcomed into their great little shop.

Dont be put off by the slightly strange appearance as it was once an Ampol servo. Quaint selling bit and pieces, we stopped for breakfast, and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meal. Generous serve of well cooked food and good coffee....Quirky but we liked it!!
