Disgraceful service. We were told that most things on the menu would not be ready until much later. The place was empty. I now know why,

The service is very slow. The meat from butcher has a good quality... because the fillet that I would eat cooked medium was well done ... and the meat was ok. Maybe they need more experiance in the kitchen.

My husband and I had our 44th wedding anniversary dinner here and we had a beautiful meal. The food was delicious and not at all fast food. It wasn't as spicy as we are used to but still lovely. The young man who served us was attentive but not obtrusively so. He was friendly and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I only hope this restaurant gets more custom. It was a Thursday evening at 7 and we were 1 of 2 couples in the restaurant. By 7.30 and for the rest of the evening we were the only diners. Please try this restaurant. It really is a jewel in Kilmarnock and not at all expensive. We'll be back.

Food was good. Manager gave good service to all customers.

Went with the family including my 5 year old who is sometimes 'obtuse ' to say the least. I needn 't have worried as the staff were excellent with him, they had a kids menu he could colour in and were patient with him As a result of this place being child friendly the rest of the family had a stress free time. The food was excellent and I would recommend the chicken wings as a starter- we had the platter with various things and that went down well. We never felt rushed and the food was freshly made to order, all round a good family meal and a decent atmosphere. The restaurant is ran by a family and this shows in the level of care showed by all the staff. It is good to go to a non-chain restaurant where the staff are not robots but real people who genuinely care.
