The View Cafe - King

Located in a strip mall left of the Food Lion strip mall. Great views of Pilot Mountain. (get a pic early, as you might have a van with ladders blocking the view) great farmhouse decor. friendly staff. 2 booths, 6 tables of 2, 2 bars that seat 12. smaller bar that seats 4. very open, cheery.9 am. breakfast, no crowd. It's a breakfast and lunch place with a vast assortment of offerings.Breakfast was ok. Link sausage tasted as if not completely cooked. or gone bad. Grits watery, gritty, not the pudding texture we expected. Eggs tasted real, fresh. Toast is toast. Biscuits and sausage gravy were good, not too salty. hash browns are chunky, patties, or shredded. chunky is our :home fries . I'd eat here again to try their lunch fare.

The food was amazing under new management new people and they are doing it right. They now have an Expresso machine and I'm enjoying a pumpkin spice latte. Come check them out!

The handsome gentleman came out, and told us about the specials, the brisket is to die for.This place is very down home country, and the food is always awesome!!!

First time back in 3 years.. I was not impressed back then ..New ownership and what a difference ..Food was great as was the coffee. We will be back soon .

This a great please, with beautiful view and people come and support this place and rewarded by there service. Can say better things about the Cafe .
