Dickey's Barbecue Pit - King George

Absolutely delicious food! Their brisket sandwich and mac cheese were to *die* for! I look forward to my next visit at this restaurant chain!

There are a few good places to eat barbecue in and around Dahlgren, VA, but Dickey’s BBQ Pit is one of the best. The selections and the menu are great, and the portions are very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always positive and the place is always clean. This is by far one of my favorite barbecue places in this local Dahlgren area and I recommend it to anyone passing through or visiting the area.

It's nice to see a Texas-based restaurant in Virginia. This food was absolutely delicious. Customer service excellent. The sweet tea I've ever had.

This place has AMAZING food. I never had a menu item that wasn't delicious! (And I had a lot of them!) The colony is where I am unfortunately closed, but fortunately this one is near where I recently moved! I'm in or even near King George (VA, I hear here! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I often see the owner and his son working, showing me how committed they are to the quality of the institution. I really appreciate it! This is a clean and efficient business and I give it a 10/10! My favourite menu item: I usually get the 2 meat plate with mash, spinach comes with your choice of bread, so I always get the cookie. Further details can be found below. Chicken Brisket Pulled Pork Brisket Chili Mashed Potatoes Creamed Spinat Onion Straws Regular Sweet BBQ Sauces are my favorites, although the Spicy is also good. It's not spicy at all, but I like eating really spicy food. FYI: This is an extremely RARE evaluation to get from me because I have been working in the restaurant industry for more than 10 years.

This was my first experience at a Dickey's BBQ, and I enjoyed it! The brisket and pulled pork were quite tasty. I appreciated that the sauce was served on the side, allowing you to control how much you want. The service was quick, and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. I would definitely consider returning in the future.
