Hibachi House Sushi - Kingsburg

My husband called me after he and a coworker had dinner at Hibachi in Kingsburg tonight, specifically to ask me to leave this review. The first thing that struck them was the overwhelming smell of fish in the restaurant. It was quite strong, but they tried to overlook it since it is a sushi place. The second concern was when their order arrived—served on a bed of iceberg lettuce—it did not look appetizing at all. When they tried a bite of the rolls, it only got worse. The sushi was warm, the plates were warm, and their fingers began to smell like rotten fish. This was the final straw. They were completely disgusted and decided to leave the restaurant still hungry and feeling sick to their stomachs. They won’t be coming back, and honestly, neither should anyone else. Let's just hope they don’t end up with food poisoning that affects the rest of their shift.

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely return because everyone there is so friendly.

The rolls were decent, but not the best I've had. The service was a bit slow, and the cleanliness could use some improvement. I would recommend the location on Main Street instead; it's much better.
