Chi-ago's Phat Smoke - Kingsland

I discovered Phat at the Kingsland Welcome Center in January 2022, and I must say, it's the best BBQ I've had in years. The pork was flawlessly flavored and had the perfect texture—juicy and tender with just the right hint of smokiness. I didn't even need any extra sauce. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Georgia!

I was very disappointed with my experience. The brisket lacked smoke rings, bark, and flavor, and it wasn't tender at all. I wouldn't even want to call it brisket. I'm used to authentic BBQ. Also, why was the coleslaw brown?

I just picked up a Brisket Philly, and it was absolutely amazing! It came with red and green onions and their special sauce. An awesome Philly!

Love the food and people. Great customer service. Have used them for catering for work and home. As well as stopping at the truck. YUMMMY. The food is alwasy great, large portions.

The BBQ is outstanding! I had a sandwich at the Wellnesspalooza last week. James and Christina are amazing people, they gave their time to cook for a Rotary fundraiser dinner last year and it was a huge success! They're a valuable asset to Camden County.
