Balzac’s Coffee7.5/10Great spot to grab a quick drink, hang out, or study! They have locations throughout Ontario including one on Princess St in Downtown Kingston. Balzac’s offers many pastries, as well as hot and cold drinks. Great coffee and pastries! For those that want savoury they do offer a sausage egg, bacon egg breakfast sandwich. The coffee latte was very good.

The atmosphere is good. Coffee good as well! They seem to have a lot of trouble with the Debit/Visa Machine. If you go, make sure you bring cash because this machine does not always work. (If you don't have cash on you, it could unfortunately be a wasted trip if machine not working).

The ambiance is inviting, the service is excellent, and the coffee is okay.

During my five-day trip to Montreal and Kingston, I had the best americano at this restaurant. I loved the building, the service was friendly and fast, and the coffee was absolutely perfect! While the pastries were good, it was the coffee that truly stood out and earned five stars in my book.
