Dallas Hot Weiners - Kingston

The cheese fries are fantastic, and the burgers are quite good as well. However, I didn't get a chance to try the secret sauce or the hot dog.

The restaurant was bustling with patrons, drawn in by the allure of a good hot dog. The service was commendable, and the price of $1.85 for a hot dog is hard to beat. As someone who truly enjoys hot dogs, I found them to be just okay—not the best, in my opinion. They seemed a bit soggy, and the red onion sauce and sauerkraut lacked flavor. However, the pickles were enjoyable. As for whether I'll return for another hot dog, I'm still undecided, which is disappointing because I have a real fondness for them. Nonetheless, you can't find a deal like $1.85 anywhere else in New York!

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and their service was greatly appreciated. However, the highlight of the meal was the hot dogs, which seemed to be cooked in a way that made them taste unique. They came with a secret sauce that definitely wasn’t chili and was only mildly spicy.

Do not pay attention to one of these 2 star reviews. These are 5 stars. Her sauce is amazing with the juicy dogs. Just eat 3 or 4.

Dallas Hot Wiener's has been a staple of Kingston for at least 50 decades. The sauce is iconic and one that tries to be duplicated. Every time I come back to visit my home state, it's not complete without a trip to the original Dallas Hot Weiner location. I love that they maintain the nostalgic appearance of the restaurant and the food tastes exactly like I remember as a child.
