Surf Turf As - Kirkenes

The reindeer starter was AMAZING Seriously some of the best cuts of meat I have had. Children has child size portions of adult meals, which they liked. Main course was good as well. Staff attentive. Overall, a recommended place to eat when in Kirkenes. Only downside was that it was fairly pricey for what it was although Kirkenes does seem to be oddly more expensive than the rest of Norway..

Great ambience and good service. the menu is very detailed about allergens but neglected to mention that the vegetable wok is considerably spicy, which feels like a bit of an oversight. taking off a star for that and for having whale meat on the menu. don't hunt whales, kids. the fish and chips seems to be a local favorite; the fish was cooked to perfection, soft and fluffy with a light crisp coating. very generous portions too. worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great combinations of local quality ingrediens, such as king crab, cod and reindeer, and international cuisine. Recommended.

Expensive, but pretty good. Service is great and very sympathetic. Meat is some of the best I've had (whale and reindeer). Cabbage was surprisingly awesome, but vegetables didn't seem to be always fresh. Very nice place to be in, and food was also great overall.

Very cute place, very friendly staff, very fast when we said we were on a schedule. the reindeer was very tender, the king crab pasta was amazing and the burger and calamari rings were great. Would definitely recommend a visit when you are in Kirkenes!
