The food was decent but not remarkable, and the service was satisfactory yet unremarkable. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired, making it a less inviting place to dine.

Booked a table for 6 for lunch. The food was good. They were busy and service was a little slow. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately we were sat on a table near the door to the bar and everytime the front door was opened we got a cold draught. The poor staff had to keep going through the door to serve customers in the outer area. Still a good place and we will go again. Price per person: £10–20

Good service. Cozy setting. Steak was medium rare as requested but the Himalayan style steak was I think a Rump steak and didn't taste like a Prime cut or anything special. The dish cost £18+ for something that was OK. The Staff were welcoming and friendly. A bit noisy at the bar from a group of lads drinking loudly so we moved to a quieter area of the restaurant so we could talk with my husband but could still hear them in the background. I'm sure it would be a different experience another day. My Husband had halloumi, chips and mushy peas. No dessert, a half of Old Mouts cider and pint of lime soda.
