Umigawa Sushi - Kirkland

It was not bad, but it was definitiw nit great. the restaurant was very quiet, very cold, many diners had their mäntel on and disappointing sushi. the hot stonepest was delish, but it was missing rolling. we are not going back.

The sushi here is fantastic, and the service is excellent. We are thrilled to have a new restaurant in Totum Lake!

The fish here is quite good, and the service was quick. This is our second visit to the restaurant, which has been open for about 7-8 months. During our first visit, I overlooked their lack of beverage options since they didn’t have a liquor license at the time. However, this time it was surprising to find that they were out of several items on the menu, didn't serve wine, and only offered soda options like Coke and Sprite (not even diet). Their beverage selection was limited to Sake and beer, and many of those were unavailable as well. Overall, it was definitely not the complete dining experience we were hoping for. With so many other sushi places in Kirkland, I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

It has potential, but we were a little disappointed. A couple of the specialty dishes were delicious, the hamachi with Thai chili was great, so was the spicy tuna on crispy rice. But some of the other things we ordered were just ok. It seems like they are still finding their footing. Might try again in a few months.

I had a fantastic experience at this cozy sushi spot in Totem Lake. The food was incredible; I tried several rolls and appetizers, all bursting with flavor and made with fresh fish. The Japanese cheesecake was a standout—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet! Our waiter was also professional and attentive. Highly recommend!
