Bidra med feedbackIt was nice and had a ton of food trucks! There was so much to choose from. But it was pretty crowded for a Friday evening. They had a lot of different options! We ate at Leti Arepas, Chai Samosa, Wing on Wheels, and a bunch of other places! The food was all pretty good!
The idea behind the food truck concept is to provide great food at a lower cost than what one would pay if patronizing a traditional brick mortar restaurant. After all, by trimming the operations cost, the entry point of the menu items is to reflect the overall savings. This is not the case with ANY of the food truck vendors. In 80% of the food trucks that we patronized (18), the cost of their offerings either equalled or vastly exceeded the cost of a traditional brick and mortar restaurant. We found it to be rather specious that only 25% of the vendors posted the price of their menu items. Had we known that a shawarma 3 bottled water of water would cost $22 dollars, we would have had 2nd thoughts about purchasing either. Had we known that a .mucho mofango plate would cost $37.00, we would not have purchased. Had we known that one empanada costs $12.00, we would have passed. I believe that a visit to World Food Truck is provides a great I was there photo op to share on your social media, but other than that, you will fare better at a brick mortar Mom and Pop restaurant for thea money and quality of the food (we watched the vendors wheel in Costco/Sysco tostadas empanadas).
Not the place to go if anyone in your group has a food allergy. There was either a communication barrier or nobody was willing to accept liability for a nut allergy, which is very common. Those who did eat had mediocre food in a dirty environment.
Great place to grab a bite to eat. There are many food trucks offering options of food, from Puerto Rican food to Chinese food. I purchased a jibarito sandwich which was huge and tasted great but it was expensive.
I love this place truly. It’s one of the best spot to visit when wanting something delicious in Orlando. A huge array of Caribbean and fusion food trucks. Atmosphere is always on point and the people that look after the trucks here are excellent cooks and so friendly. Try EVERYTHING!!!
