Turtle Jack's Muskoka Grill - Kitchener

Went early prior to a Paint Nite for dinner, we were enthused about the menu, speciality dishes were excellent, this is not an average wings and stuff potato skin place. Great food, great service, not a stuffy atmosphere, but not noisy either. Separate area for those that want to watch the TV.

We stopped with friends after we reccomended Turtle Jack's. One in the group is gluten free. She was very pleased as they have another menu all gluten free. Us guys had the ribs and wings combo. Wasn't our first stop and won't be our last! Friends said they'll make it a stop going through Kitchener now as well.

A group of 7 and we were seated right away.A bit of a wait and with kids you might think that was a problem but the hostess gave the kids lots to play with and saved the day!Nice waitstaff.The food was good. Hearty and filling. A step up from roadhouse but you can get finger foods too.Enjoyable.

This was our 1st experience at this location & for my wife & I our 1st ever at Turtle Jacks. Our first impression is it it the usual bar & grill restaurant appointed quite nicely & clean. Considering the day it was not as busy as we were expecting. Nice surprise.We were seated promptly & our server quickly took drink orders & delivered them in good time. The menu we found limited for our tastes so 3 of us ordered burgers & fries, our grandson a kids pizza & the other person a vegan type salad. The meals arrived in good time as ordered with the burgers especially delicious. The fries although fresh cut & crispy were a little short in quantity for the price of the burgers. Overall we thought the price a bit high for a lunch menu at $100 which did include 2 beers & 1 glass of wine. This did not include the tip. This restaurant is typical for a bar/grill atmosphere & pricing in general.

I love the food here my favorites are New York butter wings, fish tacos, salmon with mango salsa and the blackened bassa. The last time I was there the service was fantastic and most of the time it is but about 25 percent of the time service is slow and my food has come out Luke warm twice and my beer has been flat. I will continue to return but this place needs a bit of fine tuning to get an excellent rating.
