Central Flats Taps - Knoxville

We drove an hour to try out this restaurant. Parking was simple. The service was fantastic, with the staff working well as a team. Our orders were promptly prepared and served without any delay. There were six of us watching the OSU/Penn State game. We ordered three appetizers and each had an entree, all of which arrived quickly. The timing for our food was impeccable. We also ordered several drinks during our visit, and the teamwork of the staff made everyone in our group happy. We had a designated driver, so there were no worries. We definitely plan on returning!

The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is excellent, and the food and drinks are delicious.

Nice selection of beers and cocktails. A few from Knoxville. The flatbread is delicious!!!! We got the The Pompeii flat with Central salad aphrodisiac balsamic dressing. ????Great music and atmosphere. Staff friendly. They definitely deserve the?5?!!!

I really cannot find anything good to say about this place. I?m giving it two stars out of generosity. It?s not really a restaurant. It?s a bar that basically serves snacks. The menu is limited, but you know that going in if you read it before yougo. I didn?t expect the seed to be so basic. I?ve had frozen pizzas that were as good as the flatbread. We got the three dipappetizer. It was a tiny amount of each dip which was fine because they were barely edible. The service was extremely slow. Theonly real reason I?m giving it two stars instead of one is that the people were nice. But there are nice people everywhere.They do have a good selection of drinks so if you want to go get drunk and have a little food to eat while you?re drinking, thismight be your place. My friends mostly enjoyed themselves even though they didn?t like the dips at all. But they were all drunkso I?m not sure their judgment was 100%. I was the only one who was sober. If you expect to go there and just have a good meal,I would definitely go somewhere else.

We visited from out of town and had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. Our server was friendly and the flatbreads we ordered were delicious. I especially enjoyed trying a local brew from Knox while dining outside. The bathrooms were clean, the service was fast, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. I am deducting one star because it wasn't as family-friendly as I had expected.
