Hardee's - Knoxville

Went there for breakfast, decided to go in because drive thru line was super long. Waited 15 mins in line before being served. At 1020 they're already not making platters. No bacon when I finally got up to the register to find all this out and wasn't serving breakfast at 1029. While I was in line for breakfast. No one even bothered to take our orders. And there was no line inside. And the cooks were just taking their time doing stuff. And what grossed me out was two employees one touched his hat with his gloves then went back to handling food. Then another employee a cook touched her phone with her gloves on and didn't change them. The girl that was at drive through just stood around instead of gathering orders in bags. Yeah And the way the crew was down talking the shift leader who seemed to be doing everything except the cooking. Yeah pretty bad service today. Will not be back there. Especially touching their sweaty hats or their phones and not changing out their gloves. Disgusting.

Out of tenders, so requested a chicken sandwich. Ended up with a Frisco Burger instead. First 2 on list were correct and my wife decided she would have liked a burger instead of chicken sandwich that I ordered. No harm, no foul.

Worst biscuit I've ever had.We dined inside, waited 20+ minutes for our order (2 biscuits, 1 hashround)And it was so cold and had we couldn't bite it. Took back to counter and they got very upset and angry and said it was because they were short staffed. Asked us to come back another day and they'd give us food free. Then asked everyone inside to leave and locked doors. Very insulted and believe me I've told people not to go there. I hope they get themselves some help and get it together because they were my favorite Hardee's before.

Well the wait time seems to be too long. When I pulled in there was 3 cars in the line. 10 minutes later, I finally got to order. I ordered 5 pc chicken and a medium diet coke.After waiting 8 minutes, I was able to pull up. When I got to the window another 5 minutes my chicken was not ready so I got my coke I then waited another 13 minutes for my chicken. This is too long for food to be prepared. I know everyone has signs hiring. But lets teach employees to have a little energy and get orders prepared faster. If I had been home, I could have cooked the chicken faster like within 10 to 12 minutes. I will not stop again at this Hardees on Clinton Highway Sorry but fast food needs to teach employees better work ethics.

My daughter thinks it's weird that I take time to write reviews about fast food joints. What I write actually with any restaurant I go to serves as a reminder to me of what I should or should not order if I ever go back. This quick review is based on Hardee's chicken biscuit: infinitely better than Chick-Fil-A and as good, maybe even better, than Bojangles. My biscuit was light and buttery, and the chicken breast nicely fried and very tasty. Not dry, like some chicken biscuits can be. To round out our eat-in-the-car meal we got whatever their breakfast potatoes are called. They're similar to tater tots. Unless you have a big appetite, one shared order of tots could be enough for two not-so-hungry people. I don't know about burgers or anything else on the menu, but if we pass a Hardee's I'd likely choose it over other places for a quickie breakfast on the road.
