Southern Grit - Knoxville

After a restaurant on the street sniffed us my wife and I went to south grits, and I am so glad that we did. we were greeted at the door and sitting immediately. the food was excellent as the service. my wife had the chicken potcake and I had the meat pot. the parts were well dimensioned and the value is excellent. would definitely go back.

This place was full when we walked in but luckily we got two seats at the bar no problem! Some of the best fried chicken I've had and that's saying a lot because I grew up in the south! Service was great even at the bar. Great pre concert meal!

Wow. Everything was top notch here. The service. The biscuits. The chicken. The drink options. Definitely a must try.

Decided to come for lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered salad and the shrimp and grits without the shrimp so they added extra sausage. It was so good I couldn't stop eating even though I was full. My brother ordered chicken tenders,mac n cheese. Ms. Candy was the perfect host. Fast friendly service. Check them out.
