We had a very tasty dinner at MUSE during our 10 day stay in Knysna. We can definitely recommend the Beef Chuck Steak. 300g of pure indulgence and one of the tastiest steaks on our trip. The ambience itself is reminiscent of a typical American roadhouse . A very casual atmosphere including a pool table also invites you to linger for a while. There is a small deduction as we stayed at the MUSE on a relatively cool day and no provision was made inside to make guests warmer. There was a fireplace outside. Nevertheless, a clear recommendation to visit the MUSE! Best value local meal than the waterfront. All meals are simply fresh and delicious so do expect an hour but all worth the wait. Mussels are their signature must try dish. Beef dishes I won't recommend. Family friendly vibe but can be noisy. Sometimes it gets too busy that waiters are either overwhelmed or forgot about your drink request but they are all super friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be one of the only places I eat from now on when I am at Knysna.
