Bidra med feedbackWe had a lovely evening here. We chose the restaurant because of the vegetable focus, as we wanted to accommodate meat-eaters but mostly prefer lots of vegetables and vegetarian options. Many of the restaurants either have a very restricted choice for vegetarians, or go to the other extreme and are completely vegetarian. I could tell right away we were going to have a cosy evening. The decoration of the room is like a parisian bar with antique elements, like the huge old lamps hung low over the tables, and the tables with patina. The restaurant wasn't full, and our area only had one other occupied table, but the spacing of the tables in general allowed us to feel we were a separate party and not squeezed in with lots of noisy groups. The waiters made us feel very welcome and presented the menu so we could decide. We all chose the 10 dish tasting menu and some drinks, and after that we just sat back and had a great evening together, while more and more dishes were brought in, our water bottles were filled, and more drinks came. The waiters handled it all very discreetly and were never too far to get hold of. The food was different, no comfort food and not massive portions, but we all had enough and felt full, especially from the visual and taste experience of the dishes. Each was carefully presented and flavoured so you didn't want a big portion but felt you had tasted many different things. The most standard dish was the breaded fish, which was very satisfying, the most interesting the watermelon teriyaki. I'd recommend this as an interesting and healthier night out with lots of interesting vegetable dishes.
The restaurant has a nice ambience and friendly waiters however they tended to forget our table. We shared three of the smaller dishes and then each had a full size of the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes was rather bland but mixed with the mushrooms it turned in to a delicious dish. With a bottle of wine and sparkling water the bill came close to 1.000, kr. Perhaps a bit to the more expensive side.
The restaurant is beautiful. The staff friendly. The food is really good and innovative. We had the 10 meals course. But the sizes and amount of food was so small that none of the 13 guests who attended the dinner this Night felt completely satisfied.
We had a very nice evening in “la fabrica” with different mezes, which are very tasty and also fair regarding what they get for their money. the service was exceptionally very friendly staff and super fast service!
