La Vecchia Trattoria - Pizzaria - Köln

Excellent Italian restaurant with refined and tasty dishes. First dishes with a lot of choice and all typical Italians. Also pizzas available with plenty of choice and seconds. I couldn't try desserts, but it'll be x prox.

It was our first visit to La Vecchia Trattoria in Cologne Brück on Friday and we 4 felt Italian hospitality from the first moment. Even the ambience invited you to stay: an old half-timbered house, white structure plaster on the walls, dark bars and authentic decoration. The sympathetic, attentive and accommodating waiters did a rest. We were led to an invitingly covered table and then we didn't want to leave it at all. And first the food! See tongue, wolf bass and pork fillet, all surrounded by fresh (grill ) vegetables, were 1A. The open red wine served as an excellent companion and Tiramisu from fresh strawberries and Tartufo rounded off the taste experience. It was a beautiful evening that we repeated on the following day. Although we had not reserved this time, we felt welcome and were reconciled, this time with Jacobs mussels and pizza. If we are close again, we will surely return here again at our Cologne favorite Italian

We happened in this pizzeria recommended by the hotel, food in the norm, we took two first to the scoglio that were tasty, but we expected more, very friendly and prepared staff, but the only flaw made us sit in a table without covers.

We were with friends at La Vecchia Trattoria and I must say that all food (appetizers and fish as main food) was very delicious. The location is very appealing and cozy. The service and boss are very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Thanks to Corona there is only to go. After I had ordered several times the scallops, which are just good, there were two portions that would not have been enough for one. So price performance really for 30 euros not okay. Too bad they lost a customer.
