Had a delightful Onam Sadhya at Tamarind. Authentic tasting South Indian delicacies along with excellent services makes it a winner all the way.Their home deliveries are also well packaged and comes piping hot.

This restaurant is very conveniently located near the 4-point crossing of Sarat Bose Road and Rashbehari Avenue, beside Desapriya Park. Its a classy and well decorated place, that serves both North Indian and South Indian delicacies.<br/ We ordered:<br/ Meen Polichadu (Fish Starter), Chicken Chettinad with Appam and Malabar paratha, Mutton Rogan Josh with Butter Naan, Double ka meetha (Shahi Tukda) and Nolengurer Ice-cream (they get it from Pabrai's).<br/ To my amazement, all the dishes were awesome and fulfilling in terms if quality and quantity. They were prepared in authentic style. Service was prompt.<br/ <br/ -with Debadyuti SK

I had ordered,<br/ Mutton pepeer fry.<br/ The food was very spicy.<br/ It was yummy food and good quality and quantity.<br/ Lovely place.<br/

Last month visited this awesome place which is near deshopriyo park...after entering the first thing that will blow your mind is the ambience out here with a South Indian touch and beautiful decors and paintings.. coming to the food I tried Egg kothu paratha and mutton sukka..both was equally impressive and specially the mutton sukka was excellent with succulent mutton pieces with Rich in taste...the price is a bit high but the taste is just awesome.. surely recommended

The ambience was very good, as well as the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani which was about 99.9% of the original Hyderabadi Biryani. Chicken Hariyali and also the North Indian nans were great. The negative side was that it was too hot due to being overcrowded and the AC's or fans weren't working or may be could not cool down the place.
