One of the best Oriental Cuisine out there in Kolkata. The food is just delicious. Only a handful can correspond to taste and quality. You have to try the dim sums that are so delicious, served with the best sauces and dips. The dives themselves will let you fall in love with this place. Try the prawn tempura if you like Prawns. Choosing the best vegetables nicely stir fried and cooked to perfection makes all items in the main course a delicacies. The price is something above the expensive side, but good food costs good mice.

@theorientsaltlake is an amazing place located at Salt Lake City centre 1, and serves premium quality of Asian , Thai, and oriental food with beautiful presentation. Also they have option for lounge. They serve hard drink along with good food. Interior is amazingly decorated. Have option for window seat which enhance the ambiance more. Location Plot 1,4th floor, City centre 1, Sector 1 , Salt lake, Kolkata Pocket pinch 1200 for two approximately. Now coming to food part As they serve good Chinese, asian so you can start with Pan fried chilli fish. Which is my most favorite item.Also you can choose chicken as starter, you can try out their Crispy chicken karage with smoked mayo. This is one of the good starters you can try out from this place. For all sushi lovers, Salmon, ginger spicy mayonnaise spring onion is good option. This is an amazing option for sushi . Chicken tarkai with herbs is also a good option. Bhetki chilli garlic sauce and classic chicken fried rice are goes well. Fish are so fresh and the gravy has an beautiful aroma and taste. Wok tossed lantern chilli chicken and hakka noodles are also an amazing pair up. You can end your complete meal with good dessert. I have tried Coconut ice cream with crushed caramelize walnuts. Also you can try out their fresh mocktails. Food are overall fantastic. Quality and quantity both are in top notch. Service is good. Would like to visit this place again. . The ambience is reminiscent of garage-turned-music-studio. A waiter told me it's been kept deliberately dim. But it's bright enough to get some nice Insta clicks. The staff are polite. The food is really good. The menu layout takes some time to get the hang of. The cocktails are on-point. A bit on the expensive side.

Absolutely loved this place! Would like to visit again to try out the other menu items. We went for dinner together with family and relatives on a Sunday night at 10:00. The dining area is a bit small, has space for around 40 people, including the air-conditioned dining area and bar stool and around 20 people outside the balcony. We imagined getting a table for six, as they had only a big table for big groups, inside; and it rained outside, so that the balcony was closed. The menu was decadent and had a great spread. I was impressed by the use of authentic Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese and other popular Southeast Asian flavors and recipes. We ordered two chicken stars and they were finger-licking good. In the main course we had two types of noodles and two types of rice, both very nice. And as a side we had chickens that were also pleasant. I ordered jasmine tea as a drink as I had a sore throat, and the staff was friendly enough to prepare it for me, freshly brewed, twice on request. The others had mocktails that were magnificent. The crowd was quite a lot and so we were usually full except we had some space left for Dessert. And to finish it on a cheerful note, we had an ice cream plate that actually contained more fruit than two pots of ice cream, but all in all it was good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful and very friendly. The service was fast and the flavors were authentic and persistent from tradition (except the fact that the menu had Chicken Sushi available, which is blasphemy, but I believe in a modern kitchen aspect, it concerns the people who want to experience sushi, but do not want raw fish). I would definitely visit again to try out the rest of the items. In any case, I would recommend this place to any loving Asian taste.

This beautiful place in serves some extremely tasty and authentic Asian foods. I would particularly like to mention her sushi. I had sushi from many places in Kolkata, but I could say that her sushi is really the best. I also recommend CRISPY ANIMAL JUMBO PRAWNS, FUJIAN CRISPY SPRING ROLL, WHOLE SHRIMP CRYSTAL DUMPLING. The service was really great and the staff were very well qualified. A must to visit in the city.
