We sat down at De Jachthoorn for a business lunch and were warmly welcomed in an attractive and beautifully decorated room. To ensure the afternoon's productivity, I had a non-alcoholic Hunting Horn mocktail. The drink looked bright pink and may have questioned my professionalism within the company, but I have to admit that this was the tastiest homemade mocktail I have ever had. Due to the lack of time, we only had a main course, where I opted for the duck breast with celeriac and croquettes. The duck was cooked perfectly pink and the sauce went well with it. Not a super large portion, but just enough. The only downside was the sometimes somewhat long waiting times, perhaps due to the size of our group and the crowds in the rest of the room. All in all a very nice lunch for which I would happily return.

I have dined at this restaurant a few times in the past and found the food to be delicious. However, after a year, I was disappointed to see that the prices had increased by 33% and the quality had significantly decreased. It seems that they still don't understand that being vegetarian means more than just omitting meat from a dish and charging the same price. A dish consisting of pasta with a few mushrooms and some sweetened tomato sauce is not a satisfying meal, especially for the price they are charging. Additionally, not even receiving a cookie with my coffee after dinner was a letdown. Overall, my experience at this once-great establishment was disappointing.
