It may sound as exaggeration to call them the best frie shop in Belgium, but they won the 2017 award and if you tried the pommes, it is hard to refuse them the title. it is a small family business, and they have made the conscious choice to keep it small and thus guarantee the quality. the bad news is that it can be a bit busy to time that in some waiting times, but good things are worth waiting. this is not the only Frie shop they can get an salate, but no do it better than dbf. the salads are huge and diverse. if they choose one of the menus that contain one of the many vegetarian burgers or one of the vegan burgers, plus an salate and fries. you won't starve! the fries are really baked to perfection, golden yellow, crisp, but not hard, and not too fat! they also have the vegan chicken crispy and vegetarian friikandel and vleeskroket, all delicious! they now also serve the las Vegan sauces. that means they have about 10 different vegan sauces, from samourai to andalouse and so on! updated by the previous review on 2020 12 01

There are two vegan burgers that are both great! the fries are super tasty. there are many veggie snacks, but not so many vegans, but I always ask, so hopefully this will expand soon!

This is not the only frie-shop that you can get a salad, but none do it better than DBF. The salads are huge and diverse. When you opt for one of the menus which include one of the many vegetarian burgers or one of the vegan burgers, plus a salad and fries. You will not leave hungry! The fries are truly baked to perfection, golden yellow, crunchy but not hard, and not too fat! They also have the vegan Chicken crunchy and vegetarian frikandel and Vleeskroket all of which are delicious! *NEW* They now also serve the Las Vegan sauces.
