Xxl Burger - Kosice

When I went there for the first time, the smell of rancid fat almost went up, but after eating the burger I discovered a new world of taste. It's actually one of the best burgers I've ever eaten!

The place is very small, but they make good burgers

We ordered one jalapeño, one bacon and one XXL burger. Firstly, what's great about their burgers is the bun, it is very soft, with seeds on top, with a perfect size and texture, the vegetables were fresh and tasty. Then what wasn't as good as expected, based on previous reviews from other users: meat was just average, although juicy but with a bad papery texture and kind of off-taste bud not so strong (have had worse). Now for the individual burgers: The Jalapeño one was the best one in my opinion, the taste was great but the meat spoiled it a little. The bacon one was good, the bacon was just well made, but there was a little too much of the mayonnaise. The XXL Burger was the worst one of them all, all of the good thing and bad things listed above also apply here but in adition there was overwhelmingy strong taste of mustard present which fought off all of the other tastes and in the end turned burger into a meat, pickle, mustard sandwich. Not good experience with this one. In the end, it is a solid place to extinguish ones hunger but would not recommend if you have time to go somewhere else. The only thing saving the overall score are low prices otherwise I would give 2 stars. Although in this price range you can't expect much more, but then, you can get some amazing burgers in Kosice for 10€ to 12€ (look for my other reviews) I would think twice where to go...
