Bidra med feedbackI went on a Sunday after 3 o'clock because it offered 20% discount. the place was not very crowded and eating came on time. her sushi is great! not many hk places do vegetarian sushi so that I especially come here for it. conveniently located. friendly staff.
So I write this review 30 minutes after eating here. first the spot was super sweet. many locals. right in front of a street market. the menu is super extensive and cheap. it's cash only fyi. I started with the salmon sushi that looked pretty real, but it wasn't. had not tasted much. but that look and the texture was there. now for the main course. I've got the baked truffle cheese spaghetti with jar. I have that because I have believed pasta and it looked really good and others more valued had confirmed it vegan. the gay was def soy. I mean, it was good, but tasted like any other good mock huh nugget. what if she never had, it will be amazing. but it was quite normal in my book. the main part of this review is the cheese. I am 99.9% that was not vegan cheese. although it was confirmed “vegan”, my body was in few bits as noppppeee. admitted, it could have been something else, not agree with me, but the more I ate, the more I started trying to eat the cheese on my own faust (it is baked on a creamy sauce) tried it by itself, it had not much cheese taste. Maybe it was mozz, but the resistance was so good. I don't work. it was shiny and chewing. I had a lot more vegan cheese, but one of the challenged vegan cheese faces, according to my opinion, she is never the texture right. that's good, but just one thing. Do you tell me that this little load in hongkong has cracked the vegan cheese secret code? I mean, maybe, but between the reaction of my body and the texture. I'm pretty sure it was milk and many of it. I've been through halfway because of the pain, and I'm sorry as soon as I got back to my hotel and was sick and that was eating out. I felt better. I know this place has a hurry and they warn you about the ice on the menu. but they don't mention anything about milk, maybe I'm wrong, and maybe I had a bad reaction to something else. but I would remain clear from the cheese dishes until someone can prove that it is vegan with a photo of the cheese package or confirm the brand.
I come here a lot, their lunch menu is cheaper edge cheap. it is on the salty side and not everything is vegan, so easy to watch. they do sushi what the children love.
I am giving this restaurant a 5-star rating because my first visit was a pleasant surprise. I was initially hesitant about the pork dish because it looked so real, but after confirming with the waitress using a translation app, I found out that it was actually vegetarian. On my second visit, I inquired about the cheese being vegan, which it was. Aside from eggs in some dishes, the restaurant is fully vegan. I have dined here with a meat-eating friend who also enjoyed the food and even praised it enough to want to come back. The pork dish was particularly impressive, although it didn't taste exactly like real pork. During my visit, there was a 40% discount applied to everything, although I am unsure of the exact hours. Overall, this restaurant is excellent and also offers WiFi.
I ordered the mock eel with claypot rice. The mock eel was rather tasty, but in my option there wasn’t enough sauce, and way too much ginger. However the staff speaks English, the restaurant has an English menu, and I asked the owners who confirmed that they are 100% vegetarian. They do serve eggs, so check to make sure your dish doesn’t contain it.
