Gostilna Stari Mayr - Kranj

We order two chicken salads, end up getting only one. that one salad i get is a fish salad.

The food was really good and the staff was also quite nice and kind. The only thing i the portions are a bit big but it was good.

We had dinner here and the proportions were way more than enough for us! Excellent food and comfy chairs made this dining experience a great one.

We only had dinner there and did not stay. The food was very good, especially the goulash. However, we had to wait a long time, more than we should have. The staff were also friendly, despite being quite busy.

My experience at Gostilna Stati Mayr has been extremely negative from the beginning. The welcome left a lot to be desired and the initial impact of the place was bad. Although the rooms were new, the linen was in a questionable state, with half of it clearly old and worn. The guest house and adjoining pub appeared to be unsanitary, with objects and furniture piled up here and there, creating an unwelcoming environment. While some employees were friendly, others were unhelpful and inattentive to guests' needs. Breakfast was disappointing, non-existent already at 9 in the morning, with discount products and a bad surprise: a bite on one of the last donuts left on the buffet. The request for a scrambled egg was satisfied with an omelette cut into small triangles, a sign of disorganized management. Overall a really bad experience. The Kranj area also did not add any value to the stay, offering nothing memorable or interesting. I would absolutely not recommend Gostilna Stati Mayr to anyone and would suggest that you avoid this establishment completely for your stay.
