Handwerkeklause - Krefeld

After a visit with a group of German friends we decided to take our English guests out for a meal. The very traditional restaurant Handwerksklause suited our taste and we were greeted in a friendly manner and quickly had a drink in our hands. The...menu was adequate for our needs and soon we were eating tasty meals. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and soon a few of the customers were practising their English. The meals were all enjoyed and with a steady supply of beer and wine the evening was very enjoyable. We look forward to our next visit. The small glass of medicine at the end was much appreciated.

This is a very nice inner city restaurant even though it is situated on a very busy road with tramcars. We (a party of 16) were all greeted heartily by our hosts and seated on a large table. The first drinks were served efficiently and...the food orders taken cheerfully. The many different meals arrived almost together (not so easy with a small restaurant) and everyone commented on how tasty the food was. Throughout the evening the waitress was helpful and very efficient with the many different drinks ordered. The atmosphere was happy and cheerful (wir sagen lustig) and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Well done Handwerkeklause, for a small restaurant you hosted us to a very pleasant evening. We will return to this restaurant in the very near future.

We've been here several times. eating is always very good and tastefully prepared. Whether pasta, pizza, international or regional dishes, everything is very nicely prepared. you can recommend everything. we have never been disappointed. the service is very attentive, but without being intrusive.

The restaurant has totally surprise me due to the location and is really recommended. the food was tasty and the service was nice and attentive at the same time not intrusive. really great there.

Bruschetta, schweinemedaillons handwerksklause and ratsherrenpfanne are absolutely recommended. the service is very accommodating and very attentive
