An excellent Chinese restaurant no wonder it's Michelin rated. And yes, it's pricey, especially for Malaysia. So if you want to shop around, I'm sure you'll find great food that is much less costly, but it won't be better

Banana flies were hovering around our table, but no one came to remove them.

The restaurant aims to offer a mix of traditional Chinese dishes and Westernized Chinese options. The food is delicious, but the service can be a bit disjointed as dishes come out whenever they're ready. The overall ambiance is affected by the design choices of the hotel, with a confusing mix of carpet and marble flooring that doesn't quite work for a dining establishment. The wine list is average at best. Despite these drawbacks, I would still consider dining here again if staying at the RC, which is highly likely for me.

The Dim Sum was mediocre and did not meet Michelin standards.

Quite normal. Expect the dim sum to be better though.
