Sal's Authentic New York Pizza Richmond

This place was a 5 star about 3 years ago but they’ve gone too commercialised I think. It’s becoming more like domino’s pizza than true american pizza is drier, less sauce, slightly smaller size, and now it doesn’t come hot anymore. The wings are smaller and drier with significantly less sauce (almost none). They used to give out 2 sauces with wings and now they only give out 1. It’s a lot of little things where the quality has gone down and a few core things that have been lost. Go back to your roots! We want true American pizza again!!

After coming back from a recent trip to New York and visiting the famous Joe's pizza, this place is not far off at all. The garlic knots are absolutely delicious with the dipping sauce.
