Hafuu - Kyoto

Not sure what to say that was not already said about the meat, but it is obviously great. this is my second time here, but for the first time for lunch. I have the Japanese beef-snell sandwich, and it could just be the best sandwich they ever have. was here earlier to dinner (about 10 months ago) and had a similarly excellent experience. friendly and attentive staff and welcoming for tourists. a little wait because there is not much sitting space and this place is popular, but that is worth waiting.

We were able to make a reservation about facebook messenger who was clutching because we have no telephone service here. the staff was very friendly and courteous, we sat at the cooking bar, I guess they would have it with a front row looking at the kitchen that was great. my man and I ordered both a set menu and everything we had was delicious from the first appetizer to the last cup coffee! most employees spoke English and they had an English menu. we would definitely recommend this place!

Awesome Wagyu steak at reasonable prices. The steak came with a garlic pasta, rice and salad which was excellent. The sandwich also tasted lovely although I preferred eating each bit individually so as not to contaminate the lovely steak with ketchup and mayo. Definitely recommend. One of the best value high quality steaks around

Special dinner set menu was amazing. One of the best steaks I've had and for a great price ¥13000). Staff is proficient in English. You'll see a mix of locals and foreigners here. Limited space so reservations recommended and the meal took nearly 2hrs. A must visit when in Kyoto.

We had the original set menu, every. Single. Part. Of. It. Was. Mind blowing!!! Not a single dish was anything less than phenomenal, we finished every bit of every dish to the last drop of every sauce. I could easily say this is the best food I’ve had in Japan thus far. The chefs and staff are beyond kind as well. DON’T HESITATE GO LITERALLY RIGHT NOW.
