Bidra med feedbackExcellent sushi! Great experience. Very recommended and deserves his Michelin star safe.
Just great. As someone from L.A., I am lucky to regularly eat Edo-style omakase, which is often made from Japan/trained in Japan by highly qualified sushi kits. We were lucky to have found this place on foot and could sit at the bar. We chose the 17 pieces course and had 2 bottles/carafes of love. (Hint: If they offer you a new glass, that means that the wish has changed, so choose a new glass, we made this mistake). Maybe that was the best sushi I ever had. Her rice was very special, I think it was a noble Kyoto rice, with a unique vinegar season. All fish were delicious, tender or solid, and I enjoyed Abalone for the first time ever lol The Tamago was excellent, so orange and cuddly. All employees were cordial and welcoming, they really made the experience especially for us. I can't recommend
The Chef was amazing, the food the service 5 Stars.American Sushi places do not compare. The Michelin Star is well earned. It is a must when visiting Kyoto.Hopefully this Master brings his craft to the states. Kyle
A very solid nice sushi experience. The master speaks some English, but is a little stern. Would recommend for those looking for a high end sushi experience in Kyoto.
Good sushi correctly priced but not more than that. Not sure what has gotten into the Michelin guide inspectors it is not that level.
