Nell Thorn - La Conner

We visited Nell Thorn for a special date night based on a local's recommendation. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view. Unfortunately, the service was somewhat lacking; our server never brought us the drinks we ordered at the beginning, which was disappointing.

We had a lovely evening at the restaurant. The food was exquisite, and the service was outstanding. Upon our arrival, there was a table nearby with a few sisters that were somewhat distracting. Thankfully, they left before our meal, allowing us to enjoy the rest of the evening in absolute perfection.

This was our first visit to Nell Thorn, and it certainly won’t be our last, despite the 90-minute drive on a weekday evening. The food was excellent: I had the Fishtown dish, and one of my companions enjoyed the salmon salad. The wine selection was delightful, and our server was exceptional. I noticed how the dining rooms filled up quickly, creating an intimate atmosphere. Be sure to arrive early enough to stroll along the promenade and the main road.

Cried to early dinner reservation, so went on line, only time available 3: 30 pm we took it. cried later to make sure that we were sitting in the dining room, were yes, were not told that dinner was not served until 4 o'clock 20 minutes after three we ordered wein and then found that we could only order lunch we did. we finished our meal at 17 o'clock, the restaurant still empty, it would have been nice if we were asked to sit in the dining room to inform us about the phone when the dinner was served, it takes about an hour of mukilteo

Service was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Save room for the crime brûlée!
