Himalayan Sherpa Cuisine - La Costa

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! We had been going to the Himalayan place in the busy village faire shopping center and boy were we missing out. THIS PLACE IS AT LEAST 3X BETTER!!!!!! Omg, just go here. Best in the state, probably the nation. Wow. The chicken eggplant dish has sauce to die for. My son said it was the best tikka masala he's had in his life. And I don't know what they do to the garlic cilantro naan, but it is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I cannot recommend this place enough. The building is not fancy, the old Al's cafe, but the food will not disappoint. I could eat there every day for the rest of my life!!!!

The weekday lunch deal is great but so are the dinners. The Saag and garlic herb naan are exceptional.

This is easily the best in San Diego. My husband and I went to Nepal for our honeymoon and we have been searching for a great place. THIS is the only place you should go. We love the Chicken korma, Pad pad, Sag aloo, Aloo Bhanta, Lamb Vindaloo, veggie momos, and duh the garlic cilantro naan!! We recommend to all of our friends, and every person has said how much they loved it. You will get the most authentic nepalese food. Seriously go try it!!!!

Good food, clean restaurant, tap water tastes funny, more yogurt would be nice, all together nice
