Texas Roadhouse - La Crosse

I thoroughly enjoyed my steak dinner, which was cooked exactly to my liking. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The only downside was the fried onion appetizer; it was bland and greasy, and the sauce was just average.

We had the best service we've experienced in a long time. Our server, Garrett, was excellent—he never let our drinks run low and consistently checked in on us without waiting to be asked. The warm, fresh buns with cinnamon butter were a delightful treat that kept coming as well. As we were finishing up, he brought us the bill and offered to box up our leftovers. Our steaks were cooked to a perfect medium, just as we ordered. The manager also stopped by to ensure everything was satisfactory, which I always appreciate. The atmosphere was lovely too.

Our waiter, Tony, was fantastic, along with his trainee, Matthew. They were incredibly patient, particularly since we had kids with us. Tony introduced himself and Matthew, explaining that he was in training. They promptly took our drink orders. My sister-in-law requested a virgin sangria for my 13-year-old niece; however, Tony informed us that they no longer serve non-alcoholic versions of drinks meant to be alcoholic, which we understood. Nevertheless, he generously offered my niece a complimentary lemonade, which was a really nice touch! Now, onto the food! Despite the busy night, everything arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the beef tips with seasoned rice, while the rest of our group shared appetizers of the bloomin' onion and fried pickles. For our main courses, we had ribeye, prime steak, a single pork chop, and of course, mac and cheese with loaded fries for the kids. Our servers were excellent, and we made sure to tip well beyond 20% because both Tony and Matthew were so attentive, thoughtful, and truly brilliant at their jobs. I felt compelled to commend them for the outstanding customer service, especially in the wake of the pandemic. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend this restaurant for a great family outing or a casual catch-up with friends.

One of the best restaurants experiences we 've had. We walked in and everyone had a smile, was kind and attentive. It was very clean. This is what I imagine cooperate points to as their model restaurant. Courtney was our server and was super nice, attentive and quick! The manager made rounds and was checking with everyone to see if they needed anything. The food was delicious and the steak was seasoned perfectly. All around absolutely amazing and the nicest Texas Roadhouse we 've ever been to. Also wanted to add when they said loaded baked potato it came LOADED and was amazing!

Long story short...went in to get gift card for my 85 year old mother who was sitting at a table. It was going to be a surprise. She was headed to Wisconsin dells with my sister to go see Daniel O'Donnell and she loves Texas Roadhouse! So I get the gift card and give it to the very nice host and I said can you go give this to my mother and told her my mothers name and tell her that Daniel O'Donnell is buying her meal. So I leave and my sister keeps texting me..mom can't stop laughing. She says, this week can't get any better! They made it happen. Appreciate the help they did..the host was working at 11:30 am on November 19th...she's needs a raise!
