The Root Note - La Crosse

Best london fog/earl gray latte in the city on a wide edge. espresso drinks and menu are also amazing (God of fork and knife worthy toast highly recommended). good people, excellent vibes, so glad they are back.

I thought in la crosse for the night on the way to a funeral. there are some coffee shop options in the city, but this looked most like my style on my online search. the menu is unique, but also has the classic. I bought 3 different drinks (all for me because I couldn't decide only one. my favorite was the green glow that was Spiela, lavender, kamille and tonikum. all three were absolutely delicious. there have been milk that I appreciate as someone with a military tolerance. the barista was very friendly and helpful. we had a great chat while they made my drinks. I thought the atmosphere was nice in the load. many windows and the natural light were complicated by the white walls. there is a lot of space to sit. there were also some tables outside. the room was recently rebuilt so that everything was in great shape. there are many street parking places right in front of the house. the only thing I would change is that the current menu is available to display on their website / social media. I am the kind of person who loves to analyze a menu and decide what I want before I go in. (thank you! However, the barista was patient and very willing to help me find the right drink. I have also really noticed that all the workers I saw wear masks! if I ever get back in the opposite, the root note will be my first stop.

The Root Note is still one of the best places in La Crosse! Will always love going there. It's better than ever since it reopened this year! Amazing food, beautiful remodel.
