Promiscuous Fork (the) - La Jolla

Not worth the hassle. I called in for takeout on a Wednesday evening around 5 PM and was put on hold for 15 minutes. After that, I ordered the surf and turf sandwich and the pork quesadilla. My order was ready in 15 minutes, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The food had little flavor; even a Taco Bell chicken quesadilla with sour cream and BBQ sauce would have tasted better. The sandwich suffered the same fate.

I highly recommend this place! The Ring O Fire Burger was fantastic, and I really loved the chipotle cream sauce—so much so that I asked for extra to dip my fries in. The mac and cheese with short rib was also outstanding. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly and efficient; they patiently guided us through the best menu options to help us decide. The indoor seating area is small, but there's additional outdoor seating available. It's a great spot for a quick meal with quality food. There are so many more menu items I want to try; I hope to return soon!

Dined outside with family, party of 4 and we all loved our food. The fries are great and sandwich portions are very generous. I couldn't finish mine! Friendly service, very reasonable wait for food. The only rice option is coconut- jalapeño, so right away 3 of the 4 in my party weren't interested in that flavor combo. Pup friendly. Do be aware of very limited seating options indoors, so you might need to call if your party needs to be indoors. Tables outside are high, so not a wheelchair accessible option.

Great theming, creative menu items, nice servers. The yuck mouth burger, garlic parmesan fries, and beatnik salad were underwhelming. The La Jolla Plate and chicken sandwich lived up to expectations.

This place has amazing macaroni and cheese, and I love macaroni and cheese. If you're in the mood of pork barbecue or anything like that, this is a place to go.
