Konnichiwa Sushi - La Mesa

Kids adore this place. We love sitting by the window and people-watching. The sushi is delectable. It's situated right in the heart of La Mesa village. The staff is extremely friendly.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for locals in the area to dine and enjoy the ambiance. The service is quick and the food is delicious. The hot sake was especially enjoyable. They even prepared a special rice dish with a cooked salmon piece for our little one, who absolutely loved it. It's also fun to visit during the classic car shows.

Konnichiwa restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. I tried their ramen, sushi rolls, and various other dishes, all of which were excellent. The prices are reasonable given the location, and the dining area, including outdoor seating, adds to the enjoyable experience. My personal favorite is the salmon skin roll, with crispy smoked salmon skin that gives it a unique flavor that I haven't found elsewhere in San Diego. I sometimes visit the restaurant just for this particular roll! Highly recommended.

While the sushi was delicious, we were largely ignored. my martini was also full of ice chips and served in a strange glass. I really want to give this place something gnade, but the service was very bad, our rolling lasted 40 minutes, and no one has ever checked on us. I'm not back.

Everytime I have been here they have been nothing but helpful and friendly. The staff is fantastic and does a great job of getting me some great food in reasonable timing. This is by far the best sushi restaurant I have been to in San Diego. Well priced, great service, and great timing.
