L'amandine - La Tranche-sur-Mer

Both the main food and the desserts were really great here, but it is abandoned by the service that is incredibly slow. Very difficult to get the attention of Waitress, she did everything she could to avoid eye contact! If you come here, be patient and not in a hurdle to come somewhere later. Too bad we also noticed a lot of 'rolling eyes' and looking from the waitress for customers would ask for things.

We enjoyed our morning coffee visits to L'amandine immens. Letitia was extremely attentive, efficient and had a happy reception every morning and remembered our order preferences. It is certainly a great advantage for the device. The outdoor seating area in the garden... is charming with cover for shade, if necessary. There was a wide selection of breads and cakes in the bakery, a beautiful place around and I would certainly recommend a visit.

We have visited L'amandine regularly for many summers, it is always a pleasant place to eat, we have used it for breakfast lunch and dinner, the food was always excellent, the Bolognaise Pizza is amazing. Read some reviews about Trip Advisor I... see some comments about poor or rude service, we speak very little French, but have always found the staff to be very helpful and charming.

I've been visiting l'amandine for a few years while I'm on holiday, and I've seen it develop from a cozy little barcafé to the trendy barcafé. When I originally started to visit for my daily breakfast, the...Staff friendly and attentive, the breakfast pastry was served in wonderful rustic wicker baskets with napkin sand the coffee was nice. We did not visit La tranche last year, but returned this year, and the changes in my favorite café are not better. I visited the café with my husband for breakfast this morning and we were quite disappointed. The coffee was not scratching, and my husband Croissants were knocked directly on the table, without a plate or napkin. The pastries remain tasty, but the service left much to be desired. Also personally, the music was a bit much for breakfast time, we would prefer breakfast served with tranquility and tranquility.

We have visited this establishment many times over the years but unfortunately its level of service has been going down hill rapidly, service was very poor last year and very slow but we said maybe it was a bad day so we tried it again...this year, and the service was slower again, the waitress was very rude, and did not even bring our water. We mentioned it to the person who seemed to be in charge who explained that on a Saturday night he does not put his most experienced staff because of the change over of tourists. The toilet door still has no lock and is like that for years. The food is good so it is such a shame about the bad service. Behind the Restaurant is a mosquito infected swamp so my advice is Don't go on a Saturday and be prepared to wait a long time for your order, and bring plenty of mosquito repellent
