Redstone's North End Tavern - La Valle

We've been to this place a couple of times. First just to grab a beer, then to have dinner. This restaurant is fantastic. The meals are made fresh not from a Schwan's truck. The desserts are yummy. The prices are good. The Sunday breakfast for $5 is also amazing! The other thing that we really like is that the service is good and the owners are friendly. This is a much, much better option than the other big restaurant in downtown La Valle.

If I were able to check in here, I definitely would, but sadly, the restaurant is nestled in a stunning, remote lakeside region with no cell phone reception. This lack of connectivity is part of its charm. Each year, my husband's family rents a cabin about 40 minutes from the North End, and we discovered this restaurant/bar last year. We've already returned three times since then because it’s such a wonderful place. We’ve tried many bar/restaurants in the area, but the North End stands out as truly unique. The decor is lovely, and the food goes far beyond typical bar fare. The chef is exceptional, crafting dishes from scratch with amazing flavors, and their fish fry is cooked to perfection (you can enjoy beer-battered fish every day). The North End is an excellent spot for appetizers and drinks, as well as lunch or dinner.
