Bidra med feedbackThis place F'N rocks!!! On my Utah national park trip I literally came here every morning for gas and food. Their breakfast sandwiches are from heaven and their coffee is delicious and super strong. Their house blend is top five coffee I ever had Also their breakfast burritos are amazing!!!! They also have self checkout!!!! Don't have to wait in line or have forced awkward interaction with cashier !!! And they have other supplies and stuff of course ! The gas was $3.45 at my visit which is way cheaper then spring sale. Love Mavericks!
Rude employees the other reviews are correct. Avoid these Mavericks and take your business across the road to Sinclair. The three ladies who worked there were rude for me and my family. If you don't like your job, stop. I'll never go back there and advise everyone not to do business with them anymore.
Slightly insulted and hot head-gas station visitor took it up to my teenager to parents because he had his candy on the counter (he was just out range behind his little brother). When he reacted kindly (what he should NOT have and I should talk about it) she turned her verdict on me and said wow. Just wow. To the manager: check the band at 8:00 yesterday night. We didn't deserve that. The participant: You caught me from the guard. Next time I won't laugh nervously and agree with you. To my son, I'm sorry I didn't get up for you. Next time?
The Maverik has station have everything you could ask for. Great gas and food and beverages inside. Clean facilities and bathrooms.
During our visit, my son accidentally spilled soda while I was guiding him, and a manager reprimanded him for it. When I comforted my upset son, I mentioned that the manager should have directed her frustration toward me instead, as I was the one responsible. An employee overheard this and inquired about the situation. I explained what had happened and apologized, suggesting that the manager might just be having a rough day. To my surprise, rather than empathizing, the employee began to criticize my son. I politely interjected, stating that as his mother, I was open to discussing any necessary corrections in a constructive manner. Then, I was astonished when the employee insisted I should stop speaking negatively about her colleague. I tried to clarify that my intention was not to blame anyone, but to acknowledge that we all have bad days. It quickly became clear that any attempt to address their rising frustration towards us as customers was pointless. The situation was embarrassing, especially since the store was busy and many patrons witnessed the confrontation. We chose to leave in search of a more positive atmosphere and have not returned since. I understand that staffing shortages are challenging, but I strongly believe that a large company like Maverik should invest in leadership training and support their employees in becoming effective leaders. If staff are unwilling to adopt more positive ways to manage their negative emotions or improve their leadership skills, it may be time to consider elevating the quality of management and staff. Revamping an entire team is a difficult and significant decision, but based on my experience and observations from other reviews, as a successful entrepreneur, I believe Maverik needs to take decisive action to enhance morale and provide a better experience for customers. Isn't that what we all seek? I wish them the best of luck in making these improvements!
