Bidra med feedbackIt was my first time here! A lot of my friends Recommended it so I have it a try. I ordered the veggie burger but didn't know they had 1 (regular veggie and litelife) so I ended up with the regular one. They had a lot of toppings but felt the staff treated me like I was stupid because I didn't know I had to talk into the speaker to order my topics. I asked for 2 toppings that I didn't get (Probally didn't hear me) The booths, floor and confinement stand was dirty but the behind counter with the toppings was clean. For a Saturday it didn't seem too busy but there was too many staff crowded around the back talking when the dining side was gross and dirty. My burger made me sick. It for sure was cross contaminated with meat. Tasted like meat juices or used the same grill. Might try it again one day but not anytime soon.
Came across this outlet while shopping at the Vaughan Mills and this was my experience: Ambiance: The place is quite well lit and has a nice ambiance but you will surely find it crowded due to being located in the middle of the most famous mall in Vaughan Food taste: The burger tasted really really good. Tried the grilled chicken burger with an add on cheddar cheese. Food quality: The quality of the burger was really good the chicken tasted so very fresh as did the remaining ingredients. Food quantity: The burger was quite filling for me also they offer combo options with fried which should definitely do the trick Cost: The place is priced on average prices not too expensive. The burger was 6.95 and add on cheese was 1.25 Service: The service provided was decent and fast no complaints there
Ok so I usually don 't take my last bite and sit for a detailed review unless the food and/or service was horrible. In which case I didn 't get my money 's worth. Looks like I 'll be writing reviews for a long time. Now to South St. Burger. Even before I started my order, they told me not to expect much. The cashier won 't answer simple questions such as What are the toppings available, since they are selling for a price so called ' premium ' toppings for $1.25 Then comes the icing on the cake- the associate making my burger starts by asking what toppings I need without even asking if I need mayo or cheese since that would go at the bottom. So by the time I ask for chipotle mayo, the toppings are on the bun while my patties are still being cooked. She literally throws one spoonful of chipotle on the onions. How will this stay on? And she throws, yes actually, throws another spoonful. Anyway, the patties arrive but the cook forgot my ginger grilled (what a load of ****) pineapple slice. The fries have been sitting there for some time and were no more then 1/2 inch in length When I go to get it replaced, another girl (no offence but so far there has been only girls) pretends there has been nothing wrong with the fries. Anyway, the burger tasted OK, but kept falling apart as the patty dismantled instantly. Not to mention that chipotle (mayo) was thrown on top of the lettuce tomatoes. Net net, food joints in a mall as humongous as Vaughan Mills are expected to be busy, but funnily, all ladies (5 of them were chit chatting) and cared-less as long as they clocked their hours. One strike South St. and Three strikes South St. in Vaughan Mills. When I don 't get an answer to my question- when I pay your asking price for food , why can 't you provide me with food service worth the price. I must have asked it a million times by now. Hence my reviews.
As far as burgers go, this place is pretty good. I ordered the Nacho Burger combo. The burger was topped with pico de gallo, jalapeno mayo, red onions, and cheese. I got the 4 oz, with their fries and a root beer. It was a good burger. The patty was perfectly juicy, the bun nice and soft, the mayo not to spicy, the PDG a nice touch, and the red onion gave it a nice kick. I don't have to say anything about the cheese because a burger isn't a burger without cheese. :D. The service was OK. The staff weren't overly friendly, but I get it. They're busy. Still, a smile goes a long way. Otherwise, I was happy with the place and I would recommend it. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture to ask to this post because I was starving!
The cashiers here are sooo bad. They had a promo discount for their True North burger advertised right on their cashier screens. After I paid, I noticed I was charged full price. When I told the cashier 1 second after, she literally said Oh, it 's your job to tell me. Can 't change it now ARE YOU JOKING? She blamed me for not knowing how to do her job. Another time the sodas were all flat. I tried different drinks but it was again all flat. I asked if I could pay extra for a bottled drink, the cashier said no because she didn 't know how to do that...... Another time I was eating there well before closing time, and I had some fries left. The worker asked me if I was done, before I could answer took away my tray.....
