Wigwam Restaurant - Ladysmith

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my child. My child made a mess and I offered to clean it up, but the server told me not to worry about it. However, when it was time to pay, the owner insisted that I pay for the mess my child made. After some back and forth, I ended up paying and leaving a 25% tip. I was shocked by the owner's attitude and called later to explain that I had offered to clean up the mess. The owner's response was rude, telling me to feed my child next time instead of allowing a mess. I decided not to return to this restaurant after this experience. It's a shame they've lost my business.

The restaurant was underwhelming. It appeared clean, but the food was nothing extraordinary. The Pho noodles were overcooked and the broth was mediocre. The Pho at Pho 777 in Chemainus is much better, as are the salad rolls. I cannot speak on the quality of the Chinese dishes, as I did not try them.

Extreme Overpriced for Mediocre food! Never in my life have I ever seen such a small amount of food in dinner for two. Extremely tiny sweet and acidic pig portion, maybe 12 small pieces and drown in sauce. 8 tiny dried chicken wings and a gland filled part of the chow mine. Also some soggy bags. Extremely disappointed by the quality and quantity of food. For the first time, and for the last time, Never back. I honestly don't understand how this restaurant has four stars. Still hungry, please get out of business for new customers.
