Chili's Grill - Lafayette

It has been a few years since my last visit to Chili's. Upon arrival, there was a short wait to be seated at the entrance. Despite it being lunchtime at 1 o'clock, the restaurant was fairly empty. The interior was quite cold, which was particularly noticeable with the outside temperatures in the 30s. My server, Jarrod, took my drink order and gave me some time to look over the menu. While waiting, I overheard a young girl at the neighboring table expressing her love for the restaurant to her mother. I decided to order the shrimp fajitas, as I am a fan of fajitas and like to try them at different places. The fajitas arrived piping hot, but the tortillas were just average. It appeared that there should have been four tortillas, but only three were served, with the fourth possibly intended for self-service. The fajitas were accompanied by pico de gallo, salsa, sour cream, and cheese. The dish also came with rice and beans, but for $9.95, I found the portion to be somewhat lacking. I felt that more tortillas could have been provided. Jarrod was attentive to my needs, but I must mention the restroom, which was in a rather unpleasant state. The stainless steel fixtures were covered in water stains, fingerprints, and other unknown substances. The entire restroom had a musty smell, forcing me to cover my face with my shirt while inside. Aside from the restroom issue, I would give Chili's a 5-star rating.

I ordered the lunch shrimp fajitas, as I am a fajita lover and always try them wherever I go. The food came out sizzling hot, but the flour tortillas were a bit disappointing as they were stuck together and one was shredded. The meal included Pico, salsa, sour cream, and cheese, as well as rice, peppers, and onions for $9.95. Overall, it was a decent meal, but could have used more tortillas. Jarrod was attentive and took care of my needs throughout the meal. However, I must mention that the bathrooms were disappointing as well. They were dirty, with stainless steel partitions covered in water trails, fingerprints, and an unpleasant smell of sewer gas. I had to cover my face with my shirt to bear being inside. Despite this, everything else about Chili's was great and deserving of 5 stars.

I recently had the best meal of my life at this restaurant! The price was justified, and the waitstaff was kind and attentive. I even chose to celebrate my birthday there, and it was an incredible experience.

The staff was very welcoming and the food was tasty. We were surprised to see TVs at the bar, making us feel like we were watching a football game. The restaurant was not very crowded, which created a peaceful atmosphere.

Whenever I visit Chili's or use their Curbside-To-Go service, I always enjoy their good ambiance and delicious food. This particular visit was at 8:00 PM.
